If the experience in labor and delivery ward is anything like the triage experience we had last night... well we're in for a very rough ride. First encounter at this hospital was disappointing.

I gladly chose Orlando Health to receive the surgery I required, but, now I wish I’d have gone elsewhere.

From the moment I arrived at the facility, mistake after mistake were occurring in the handling of my personal property. In fact, after the surgery it took them three hours to locate my property which was ultimately left out in the open.

As far as my actual surgery went, I’m told I did very well, and the implanted device is working perfectly. So we know the procedure was definitely a success. However, the failed to dress my surgical incisions. So I ended up bleeding all over my bed, once back in my hospital room.

On top of that, some of my medications were never ordered, and the covering resistant was basically derelict in her duties for failure to answer the scores of pages that went over the air for her to respond.

The care from the nursing staff itself was as good as they could provide, given the glaring shortcomings they must be facing.

The room was very clean and well maintained.

And lastly, they absolutely have the ability to put out restaurant quality food, but do drop the ball far too often for me to ever return here.

I went to the ER about last week n I was in full panic attack the Dr Gave me Benadryl n wanted to send me home I told the er doctor I can’t go home like this he yelled and screamed at me I’ll give you medication this time but I am gonna red flag you n you won’t ever get another thing here again.in the middle of losing my f n mind.Granted I was in a month before for the same thing n they treated me with kindness.I am a recovering addict n first thing I told them before they ever treated me.I have been clean for ten years n also let them know that as well. They gave me adavan n sent me right out the door didnt even ask if I had someone to drive me home.I didn’t sit in the waiting room an hour cuz I needed a fix I needed help n they treated me like a junkie n shamed me in front of the whole ER If I wanted drugs I wouldn’t go to the er for help.I am crying right now cuz the thought of another attack I will have to be up all night in terror with no place to go for help.I am 62 yrs old n someone who try’s to live right after yrs of addiction.and to get treated like a junkie because two pills that I took n they allowed me to drive home after.I needed your help n this is compassion. It’s taken me along time to find a doctor cuz my insurance but I found one n hope I get treated better this time. You never know the horror I go threw with these attacks n I hope you never do.Not everyone is out to get high.
