Positano is so beautiful! In winter it was just as gorgeous and very peaceful and quiet.

i was just there 3 weeks ago. I fell in love with Positano.  I didn't find it very expensive like some say.  we did some shopping, walking and ate delicious food, and oh the beach! :D  we will definitely come back.

This place is amazing. Expensive, but amazing. I highly recommend renting a boat and taking it along the coast. There are plenty of coves to drop anchor and have a really awesome picnic afloat. The Albergo Miramare Hotel was fantastic with great service and a great view - be sure to request the corner room overlooking the town. Word of caution: if you have a great deal of luggage, there are stairs upon stairs to just about every hotel. Unforgettable though.

Gave two weeks here. The walking nearly killed me. I wasn't right for three weeks after the holiday. My Bank account didn't recover yet. Very expensive. Only go there if you are marathon fit and wealthy..No place for old men !

I thought it was Sapienza that was the jewel of the Amalfi coast.
