Images of the destruction of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) vehicles on November 20 and 24, 2023, and testimonies from two MSF staff who witnessed the destruction are presented in this video.
On November 18, 2023, the evacuation convoy came under fire in Gaza City in what immediately appeared to be a deliberate attack against clearly identified MSF vehicles. Two people were killed—both family members of MSF staff—including one who was a volunteer supporting MSF medical teams at Al-Shifa Hospital.
All five of the MSF vehicles used during the convoy were subsequently destroyed on November 20 by an Israeli bulldozer and a heavy military vehicle. On November 24, an additional MSF minibus was destroyed by an Israeli tank.
