Rand Paul pushes Blinken on US backing Ukraine's NATO aspirations, citing Putin's reasons behind ops

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) pushed Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday over the risks of expanding the NATO military alliance, saying that Russia has in recent decades invaded countries that “were part of Russia.”

Blinken: "at the heart of the international system in the international order... is a basic principle that one country can't dictate to another the choices it makes about with whom it allies its foreign policies." The US has been meddling in the domestic politics of so many countries after WW2 in Asia, Africa, Middle East and Latin American countries - funding rebel groups, encouraging regime change, causing unrest and wars. Blinken is fully aware of this, he has no shame and remorse in his actions.

Blinken say he supports sovereign decisions of countries and their freedom. How about Cuba, Venuezuela, Ecuador or more recently Solomon Islands? Didn't a US official warned of military actions if China were to set up a military base in the Islands? Hypocrisy and double standards.

Allegedly, Russia is still waiting on a response from Zelensky after they have sent a proposal regarding the territory situation. Zelensky has yet to take immediate action on the proposal. This clearly shows his level of concern for what's taking place in the areas of conflict. This is very telling on how serious Zelensky takes critical matters and it also shows his lack of leadership.
