Thanks for the great review and demonstration. The horizontal axis rotation looks like exactly the function I need to make honing hawks and hatchets easier. The ability to offset and clamp outside the bench's edge is a huge bonus as well.

Is the offset accessory arm a new addition? I don't remember seeing before thou i know it was always on the orginal Versa Vise.It is a very good addition.Thanking you in advance.

I bought a similar vise called a parrot vise . It was a great vise . The problem is the internal barrel nut, which has stripped threads after 4 yrs use. Now it has to be hand pushed back to close an engage. What a PITA.. Had I read an honest review about its shortcomings I would avoid this vise made in china. and spend more $ for better quality.

Why must it always be like pulling teeth simply trying to find out where the item is made? Your website avoids the subject like the plague, which pretty much answers the question. If you are so embarrassed by the fact that it is made in China, maybe you should reconsider your business model.
