So happy I found this channel...scale discrepancies can drive me mad.

Was thinking of getting those heavy cavalry from Wargames Atlantic so curious to see how they stack up against the GW empire knights.

Man. Those White Wolf bits would be perfect to kitbash with for Space Wolves

I've put the hunting dogs on cavalry bases in pairs of 2 and use them as unit filler. This makes the Renissance Heavy Cav box give me 16 bases of cav. Also used some bits from their infantry to make a champion with Greatsword and the hammer from the old Karl Franz kit to make a preist of Sigmar.

I would definitely like to see the heavy renaissance cavalry compared to Empire knights. Whenever I get around to making an Empire army I've been considering using them for Empire knights, either wielding pistols or dual swords and painting them up in red for the Encarmine Order.

I am wondering how the Wargames Atlantic horses compare, as the GW models look quite tired and old. Did I see cc1991? On the sprue. Likewise the Old World militia i wonder how size wise and kitbashingwise these minis go with WA, Fireforge, Victrix and Oathmark. The Fireforge Swedish and Russuan Medievals have lots of kitbashing potential.

I really wished that this would be one of the kits that games workshop updated for old world, I understand why they didn’t. I feel like all I can hope for now is an expansion screw or bits that we can use to upgrade the knights into various orders. Personally, I want to go with a Knights of Morr theme, I’m going to be using some leftover bits from the black Knights kit to do so!

To be fair there are many horse races of different sizes, the arm without hand is for the twohanded hammer

There are heavy cav' and then there is HEAVY CAV', i mean imagine if we had an experienced sculptor on hand, he could make a new unit of Bone Grinder Giants on Mammoths with full command group....:)

It's unfortunate that the scale creep isn't the other way around: heavy cavalry ought to be on bigger horses than light/medium. Still, the size difference does not look to be too great.

So is it time to sculpt your version of the old Imperial Dragon?

Just three White Wolf upgrade sprues? Does that mean you can only make 6 White Wolf Knights? 😮

The old plastic kits it's best in WHFB! ❤ to old Bretonnian knights and Imperial armies. A new kits not so good.

Different breeds of horses are different sizes. I don’t see a problem with even having different heights of humans either, because humans are not all the same height.

If only gods produced these type of figure sets 15 years ago … sigh

Knights from what 2001? With horses from 1991... GW didn't even make a new plastic horse sprue (which could be used across the ranges), no respect for us at all.

I'm buying the knights for my Empire, all the rest will come from Wargames Atlantic conquistador sets. Those gw state troopers and pistoliers are awful
