After more than 100 years having cars with round steering wheels, what is it it that it's such a brilliant idea to make steering 'wheels' squared?

The A6 has always been a very dynamic car. It wasnt as playful as a 5 series, but you could always drop the equivalent 5 series in the twisties. Especially in the Competition TDI for example.

Just lost all my interest for the a6, liked the c8 so much but they finished the a6 for me and ik not the only one.

i have been a big audi fan, but the new ones from like 2024 - 2025 are so ugly, especialy the interior
