November 18, 2019 | Carolyn Forché is the former director of the Lannan Center for Poetics and Social Practice and is a University Professor in the Department of English at Georgetown University. She is the author of four books of poetry and has been a human rights activist for 30 years.

In this Faith and Culture Series conversation with Berkley Center Senior Fellow Paul Elie, she discussed her new memoir What You Have Heard Is True: A Memoir of Witness and Resistance. This event was hosted as a part of Jesuit Heritage Month.
