Christian churches in sharp decline in South Korea 🇰🇷

Christian churches in South Korea are embracing new techniques and technologies to try to attract more adherents.

The reforms are coming into force at a time when South Koreans are moving away from religion. Today, more than half the population say they are non-religious.

The decline of the church is partly because it is seen as archaic and out of touch.

Al Jazeera's Tony Birtley reports from Seoul.

They make it sound so drastic but even at the peak of Christianity in South Korea, atheism has been the majority in South Korea & has been since 1966.

Yes there will decline of Christian faith because the Bible says in the end times people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful and proud disobedient and so and so. 2 Timothy 3:2-3

Reasons are because too much attention have been paid to prosperity gospel, star pastors, Christian testimonies of rich elites and missionaries to China.

Dear Korea: you have a unique civilisation. Return to your roots, which are Buddhist and Confucian. This is your history, your civilisation and your soul! Don't sell out to Christian colonisers who want to erase your culture and turn you into an outpost of the West. Even Japan stayed true to its roots, while rising China is quickly rejecting Western ideology in favour of the values of their own civilisation.
