Braun PS 500 suspension springs original vs new.

On the left there is a fully original PS500 with old suspension springs. As you can see, they cannot hold the platter properly and the oil dampers are overloaded. On the right there is a PS500 with new springs, they hold the platter properly. Not only the oil dampers are not overloaded and they life is prolonged but also the performance of the turntable is superior. The platter sits firmly so it runs more stable and without vibrations.
