Timing is everything. I’ve played against so many players that could bounce the crap outta the balls in warmup but are absolutely horrible in game hitters. They only know one way to hit. On top of the ball. The ones that cut at the ball and drives with topspin in the deep corners are deadly.

Volleyball is one of those sports where you need a person to help you out, especially for kills. It’s nearly impossible to get good at spiking without a setter.
