Just came back from my first trip to NYC, and I cannot wait to go back and explore LES and more of the city.

Thanks for the Los Tacos, Unregular Pizza, and Bleeker St Pizza suggestions! They lived up to the hype, that’s for sure.

Jon… I’ve just got to say thanks so much for not turning on the city like some other vloggers I used to watch. I’ve always known something about you was super genuine. Thanks so much for continuing to rep the city with pride.

I moved from Dallas to the Lower East Side last May. I’m 63. Yes, it’s a little gritty, but I’ve really grown to love it. Went to look at a place in North Williamsburg, and I immediately missed the LES. Thanks for a great video. A few suggestions for future LES episodes: Cheeky Sandwiches, Metrograph Theater, Mel Bakery, Black Crescent bar, Essex Market, Good Thanks cafe…and so much more.

I'm French and I live in Paris and I just gotta say that I really love your videos. I discovered you about two weeks ago, I kinda dream of traveling to NYC (and living there when I grow up! 🤞🏻) and your videos make me travel and I really appreciate them so: thank you :)

My friend lives at LES *Rivington&Pitt and when I first was visiting her place the neighborhood seemed little scary & messy... but after staying whole pandemic time at this neighborhood I fell in love with LES: I could every day take long walks and discover something new every time* the best one was crossing Williamsburg bridge ♡

It's a far cry from when my grandmother first emigrated from Slovakia and worked in a sweatshop in the LES in the 1910s.

Thanks for another off the beaten path tour of New York really enjoyed it. Specially enjoyed the UFP unidentified flying pancake. Priceless funny moment. Ben is great in your videos. Action kid will be missed. Good luck with future videos. Take care

Hey John! I'm a big fan of your videos. Although this kind of neighborhood videos are good for tourists, individuals who are thinking about relocating to New York City would greatly benefit from a thorough video guide that covers essential details like subway connectivity, rental availability, restaurants, bars, and who the neighborhood is good for.

I’ve been to New York before and I can see first hand you’re right there really aren’t that many alleyways. Can you make a video on where you would find the most interesting alleyways?
