Midpoints and Segment Bisectors || Definition Example
Показать описание
Midpoints and segment bisectors. Definition of midpoints and segment bisectors. Examples of midpoints and segment bisectors. In this video, we will talk about mid-point and segment-bisectors. So, What is midpoint? The midpoint of a segment is the point that divides the segment into two congruent segments. For example, if P is midpoint of line segment AB then line segment AP is congruent to line segment PB and AP equals PB. What is a segment bisector? A segment bisector could be a point, ray, line, line segment, or a plane that intersects the segment at its midpoint. A midpoint or a segment bisector bisects a segment or cut the segment in two equal parts. If line CD is bisector of line segment AB then line segment AP is congruent to line segment PB and AP equals PB. Are midpoints and segment bisectors the same thing?
