85mm GM beep

The Sony 85mm GM beeps annoyingly, reaches the aperture range in both directions after powering on, but there is no focus in either manual or autofocus mode. After reconnecting multiple times, I was able to control the aperture via the A7IV body, but I only managed this 2 out of 10 attempts. Turning off the camera is also slowed down and takes longer than usual. Has anyone experienced this issue before?
