I developed anorexia at 21. It doesn't discriminate.
Unless you are fed therapy ill not work! Yes! The old persistent method of treatment continues to fail because of this: there needs to be a food first approach.
Pigs who are starved (induced anorexia) will become increasingly active while ignoring their food: they will exercise themselves to death.
Forget about identifying what neuron to target with some kind of drug for hyperactivity. As a starved person begins to eat enough the brain stops sending the signal to hunt for food; it becomes calm under the assurance of reliable consistent food. The "cure" for anorexia is the opposite of what caused it: food. We need to stop complicating things. The psychiatric community is behind the times.
Sorry so simple.
Eat food.
