This workout is designed to fatigue every last muscle fiber you have - working both fast and slow twitch fibers while accumulating extreme volume, and time under tension to crank up metabolic stress in the muscle, and skyrocket your anaerobic capacity.

You will only perform one exercise for this finisher - a neutral grip incline dumbbell press.

This will allow for a great range of motion, while still providing a heavy stimulus, and reduce the risk of injury due to your ability to simply drop the weights if you hit muscular failure.

This workout is going to be one giant pyramid set.

Each movement should have a slow-controlled eccentric portion of the lift (the lowering) - and a fast-explosive concentric portion (the lifting).

Pick a weight you can comfortably get 15 reps with - For set one, you will perform 10 reps, and then keep the weights in your hands and perform a 10 second isometric hold at the bottom of the movement - about 1” off your chest.

Once completed, take 10 seconds of rest before you start the second set - where you will perform 9 full reps plus a 10 second isometric-hold at the bottom - using the same weight as the previous set.

You will repeat this process for 10 total sets, all the way down to the last one where you perform just 1 rep plus a 10 second isometric hold at the bottom.

That’s 10 sets, 55 reps, with 100 seconds of isometric holds.

This extreme volume and accumulation of time under tension will leave you with the most insane chest pump of your life!

Filled with very detailed information and demonstrations, but although extremely detailed it sounded really scripted. Would love to see a little no filter part two of a live chest day with Joel to really show the world what an intense chest day looks like in his life.
