No the backbone to feminism is not consumerism..I’m consumer debt free, married mom..career woman in my 40’s yet I care more about feminism which means equality for women..then I ever did when I was wrapped up in consumerism..feminism destroys consumerism because debt prevents wealth..and worst case scenario if you have to handle things financially on your own you have to be financially responsible to do so. Expand your experiences with people ..Feminism is not a one size fits all mindset.
