So cool to think this 1934A one hundred dollar bill was at the bank and handed out in change to me, a customer :) I can only hope to get more great treasures in the near future!!!

Long time ago when I was 15 I found a 1928 $100 dollar bill at the bank, gold clause note. I still have it till this day, im 36.

One of my best finds was when I took out $50 in fives from my local bank. I couldn't believe my eyes when the teller handed me 10 PERFECT CONDITION 1995 Series fives. I couldn't believe my eyes - then I noticed they were perfect condition AND consecutives.

About a year ago I went into my local bank and asked for twenty 10 dollar bills. 12 of them were like new, ten dollar bills. These were literally like they were just printed. I can only theorize that someone really old died and the family found the stash of them tucked away didn't notice how old they were and just deposited them.

This is one of the better times of the year to search banks for stuff like this because of the holiday gift buying.  Also look into around July/August (back to school time) and spring time due to the increase in outdoor weddings.  Lots of money go back into the banks around then for these expenses.

I found a 1932 $100 bill many, many years ago.  Unfortunately I was so broke at the time that I could not save it.  I have regretted it ever since! :(

I found a crisp 1934 100 in a cash register at my grocery store I worked at I got paid that day and spend half my paycheck to get it I had the lady put it under the drawer for me over time I found many other 1950s and under bills there plus Penny's from the teens 1913 and 1919 Penny's it was a blast searching my register for old money
