Porch pirates are ready to pounce on those holiday deliveries

Here's how to avoid getting packages stolen off your front porch.

The weak laws are promoting it.
Thieves know the police will not do much about it, and even if they do, the criminals know the laws are weak to place or keep them behind bars.
If one criminal pays a heavy consequence of stealing packages, 10 of his friends will most likely not steal packages, fearing the consequences too.

I sit in front of my house with a gun on my hip. This is not a new thing for me. Everyone in my neighborhood is aware of this. I protect my neighbors property as well (so long as they have asked me to). Nobody is going to steal anything from me or my neighbors.

Tougher laws more prisons. Time to separate the bad apples from society. Not the cops fault its the ones who make the laws that keep getting voted into office.

Also, Amazon has drop off sites, so if you're at work, or know you won't be home to receive the package, have them drop it off at an Amazon locker. These lockers can be found at 7-11, and other places of business. So when your ready, just go to the business and pick up your package where it will be safe. JS 🤷‍♀️

In my country if a package can't be delivered it will be delivered again the next day or to a pick-up point. But I hear that the volume is too high and the margins are too low to offer such a service in the US.
