John F. Ross' Street Dance Club comes out with their first video release!

Our tribute to the Jabbawockeez, by performing their Champions for Charity routine!

Why did we do this dance?

We originally learned the routine (in 2 1/2 weeks!) to perform at our school Multicultural festival. This video is a mash-up of our performance at the multicultural festival as well as our school Pep Rally. We also ended up performing at our City wide Multicultural festival with this dance as well.

Hip-Hop at a multicultural festival?

We wanted to show people that hip-hop is its' own culture spanning the globe and across all language barriers , with music, dance, art and more!

Why the Jabbawockeez?

Because they represent many aspects of hip-hop culture. From the music, dancing, clothing, street performances and overall attitude, they are a breakthrough group who have helped bring hip-hop culture to light and have become an iconic symbol of hip-hop (esp. the dancing aspect) in the process.
