Comparing New England, Middle, and the Southern British colonies

Covers standards: SS.8.A.2.2, SS.8.A.2.3, SS.8.A.2.4

This video covers the characteristics, climates, geography, religion, government, and key people of the 13 colonies.

This video is designed for middle and high school level civics/government classes. I use these to teach, review for tests, or remediate after tests. Also used at the end of the year for EOC or final exam type state assessments. They can be done with guided instruction from the teacher or assigned individually (Works well with home connect or distance learning). Thanks for watching!

Thank you! Using this to help write an essay for my exam, you summarized everything very nicely!

edit: One interesting thing worth noting that I learned in my class was that slavery wasn't common in the South until after the 1700s. Until then, most of the labor was done by white indentured servants from England, especially in the Chesapeake area. In fact like 75-85% of all colonists were indentured servants.
