Godard did not only use red and blue in almost every scene, but also white. Blue, white, and red are the colors of the French flag. So there is probably a correlation between the used colors and the flag.

I saw the movie for the very first time today and I couldn’t make any sense out of it so I’m now looking for the review on YouTube. Your review is very helpful. I’m going to give the movie another shot

My favorite gangster movie Carlitos Way uses color in a really fascinating way. If you haven’t yet, you should check that film out.

yea as you says that this film is about pushing the bounderies, and asking the audience. but i think as a film, it shouldn't just forgot the main function of it, to tell a story.

Is Pierrot Le Fou related to Le Petit Soldat? I still didn't watch Le Petit Soldat, but i notice that in Marianne aparment there is a poster of the film and they talk a lot about the Algerian War.

So the characters have an arc? What sort of structure are you referring to? Thanks again.
