My opinion: Even though making it p2w helps the devs and giving us updates in return, I still think that they should balance the kit's use and other kit's use. It is just the fact that the op kits like cyber gets so much attention whilst u can kill people with just a gingerbread man kit.

I get it, they need to make money, but nerfing the f2p limited kits to the ground such as frosty and jade to the ground to increase sales, what about the people who supported the game and maybe would've bought a kit who quit, this is also a sort of sale decrease way bedwars is changing its updates.

The game is p2w. The literal definition of p2w is describing something as an advantage. Which kits give you an advantage along with the battle pass. I would rather the developers and content creators just admit the game is p2w it's really not hard to say since it's obvious that the game is p2w.

Awesome video, and yeah basically if their was a in game currency that will you will be able to grind for and get kits from there will be no point in the gamepasses at all + they won’t be making as much money as they are now.

I dont understand how it is not p2w. 1:15. HOW DOES IT MAKE IT FUN AND DIFFERENT. Different items can make it fun like balloons but kits ruin the whole game. You can be so skilled and go against a someone who is not that good but if that person has a really good kit that gives a different weapon, makes you fast, can get items that are POWERFUL then how is it no p2w. This is why I left roblox bw and started mc bedwars because mc bw is not p2w (the mc pvp is though because of double clicking and not alot of mice have double clicking) And ik that some kits require skill and you can (sometimes) beat players with kits but its so hard you might as well just get a kit lol.

I think I know more, Bedwars had one first game where it was a bit P2W but than Bedwars was Released and I’m guessing they had an idea for an new game so they made some kits 400, skins 800, battlepass:800 and making games cost robux as you said, Downside and these downsides in bedwars sometimes a third or 4th game materials need robux also

So true maybe if the devs make a f2p update like a shop that sells stuff for a currency like bed coins and you get them by grinding them in matches the devs will make alot less.

he's the thing, the devs do add some "good" kits in the battle pass for those who are f2p. So if you played season 1, you could've had jade and spirit catcher.

I agree, Bedwars isn't pay to win. People just use not having kits as an excuse for losing. They did make pvp a lot less skill based. When I see a clearly new player and a sweat the new player wins a lot just because they clicked slightly faster. It definetly has been becoming less and less enjoyable. They also said "coming soon" at level 40 in the FREE pass and then proceed to make 2 kits that could have been in the FREE pass but instead they made them really OP and behind a REQUIRED PURCHASE. The OP kits are fun but since I don't waste money on the game because I know it gets less fun and everything gets nerfed I can't get them. And not gonna lie but, I might even stop playing the game altogether with all the drones making impossible to play the game and things like that. It's not p2w but I feel like it's pay to enjoy.

Aside from the kits and that stuff, let’s talk about battlepasses. Specifically, xp obtainability. I’ve been on bedwars since season 1, and even before that. When season 1 was added, you could earn up to 12k xp a day from daily missions (6k each one) and weekly missions each being 24k. Since season 2 mission xp highly decreased, completely dividing xp on all missions by 2. The devs said they were gonna increase xp in future upgrades, but it only got increased when there was barely any time left. And when it increased, it barely was anything. Only weekly missions increased. And then, when the season ended the xp came even worse and worse until season 4 when it barely was anything. They are doing this to increase premium player playtime, but they barely get an increase of money in that. It will eventually decrease to the point that you can barely get to level 10 at the end of the season. There is also less content in the seasons each time, which makes them be lazy, and they always lie about each season being their new largest update. And the fact that you can no longer buy a kit safely without it being nerfed the next update or replaced by something better just makes it worse, to the point it’s no longer p2w since you no longer get an advantage, and instead turns into a rigged gambling machine. Like the time I was excited to buy freya bc of the sword and the skin and then they replaced freya with the ember and lumen kit bundle which made freya basically useless. Cheaper swords, cool powers, and more damage. I bought the bundle, and I’m scared it could be nerfed to death at any time. Aside from that, clans are pure propaganda Into players spending more time and buying the clan pass. You actually can’t get kits from it, as when you buy a kit and equip it, it instantly unequips when you go to a round. The battle pass season experience boost will stay at 1% no matter how many times you buy it. P2w is not the only problem, the biggest problem is devs being money hungry to the point that the game stops being enjoyable and worth it.

Now I know why bedwars is expensive but to prevent people from having bad experiences, why don’t they add a game mode with no kits which include solos, duos and squads?
