Explains how to determine the direction of the force from parallel current carrying wires. If the currents in the wires are flowing in the same direction then there is a force of attraction between the two wires. If the currents in the wires are flowing in the opposite direction then there is a force of repulsion between the two wires.
Use the right hand rule to determine the direction of the force on the wire. Point your thumb in the direction of the direction of the current, point your fingers in in the direction of the magnetic field and the palm of your hand will "point" in the direction of the magnetic force on the wire.
