As a Bulgarian - I am very proud of our guy!!
As a basketball fan, I am wondering why more players do not play the game like this....simple and efficient.
He is not flashy, not athletic, not flamboyant, does not play 1-on-1...but he is smart, has high basketball IQ, puts the team above all type of player, that I like to believe leads by example. And I must say, him being modest and not cocky is so refreshing.
Let's tell the truth, he is just in the right situation...the coach and teammates trust him and play for him...but he has earned that, you do not get to this level, without proving you are worthy for this.
Hopefully he is healthy and continues to improve and lead Olympiacos to the title....based on what they are showing so far, they all deserve it!
