Fokker Control Grip Evolution 1913-18 (9) / Part 9, Early Dr.I production grips of 1917

Показать описание
Take a look at the development and history of the Fokker control handles from 1913 to 1918.
The military liked the new Fokker triplane and its performance was excellent. With the new rotary engines, which worked according to the LeRhóne principle, the inspectorate of the Air Force also issued a requirement that every future fighter aircraft should have a throttle control for the pilot's left hand on the control handle. This handle was not yet available for the three pre-production F.I triplanes and so they were still flown with the old engine controls. The first production of the triplane as the Dr.I was equipped with the new handle as required.
