How to fix Honda CR-V turn signal flashing rapidly

The left turn signal in our 2014 Honda CR-V started flashing rapidly compared to the right turn signal. All the bulbs seemed to be working. This video shows how to fix the problem if not caused by a burned out bulb.

Honda CR-V fourth generation: 2012-2016, but applicable to other generation Honda CR-V's too.

Great video. I haven't heard of this issue with just a little corrosion before. I thought it would be 1 of the bulbs were out. Also, you can use a pencil eraser if you don't have a dremel to clean the contacts.

My signal was flashing rapidly so I started by replacing the bulb (2012 Accord). That didn't work but a Google search brought me to your video. I don't have a Dremel tool, which would have worked better, so I had to resort to sandpaper. Anyway, it's working. I wouldn't have guessed the problem was corrosion. Thanks, bro!

This was my problem. My contacts were not corroded to bad so I used nail polish remover and a q-tip on the contacts and the bottom of the bulb. It worked like normal after putting it back in. thank you sir!
