Another argument for protecting biodiversity: its intrinsic value! Sometimes I’ve explained the value of conserving biodiversity as simply doing what we can to protect all of the amazing life forms that make this planet so much fun to explore. Even when the vital scientific and economic arguments are stripped away, animals and other living things are just super cool, and that’s enough for me to be invested in conservation! This was a great overview of this topic Ben, nice work!

Finn (age 14): I’m clearing honeysuckle in our woods to eliminate the invasive species

Nice video. I've also thought of when people plant forests why don't they plant like every possible compatible native species. Like imagine a forest with like 50 native tree species.

I feel so outmatched, and out numbered with my environmentally friendly acts and way of life. I will continue to be an eco friendly human, but I can't help but feel it is a waste of time when I see what the majority of people do to this Planet and her Animals. Weather it's people using single use plastic, cutting down forests to pour more concrete, or spraying the poisons on the soil, I feel like 90 percent of people just don't it makes me mostly angry.
