Canon or not, this video is amazing and just proof for why I love the dynamic between Mario and Meggy. Just gives me heartfelt feels all the time.

People sometimes compare the haters with the shippers, and tbh i cannot stop myself from laughing when i see that.Every video you see about MxM has the same people going out their way to hate on the ship, haters are far worse than hardcore shippers (who are anoying too but not as much).

Then a poll like the one in gabasonian channels come and you see realitty, where from 30k votes 70% goes for MxM, and you realize that the haters are simply a vocal minority.

Most haters, at least the comments i get to read, act like literal NPCs following a "trend", applying realitty when they want but forget applying it when its convenient for them:

-People stating Meggy is 14 when its offically recognized that she is 21. Also if she was 14 back at the start, can you explain to me how her inkling model in the Lawsuit arc looks the same as her first apparition in the show physically speaking?

-People saying Mario is +30 just because he looks old cuz an stupid mustache, when you have SMG4 (who was until recently a recolour of mario) with an age confirmed of 24, making absurdly retarded to think Mario is over 30, when he and SMG4 look the same. Also Mario canon age in the games confirmed to be 24-25.

-People and Youtubers hating MxM the ship, but is fine with a "sibling" relationship between +40 Mario and 14 meggy. Isnt that supposed to be wrong too? Can we at least realize that if you think of a big age gap between them, the entire relationship between Mario and Meggy would be friking weird? Even their friendship? Totally normal for a +40yo guy to be best friends with a 14yo teenager... yeah.. makes sense..

-A QnA that Meggy answer real fans stating they are like brothers, then in Western Spaghetti (2 years later)she clearly sais they are best friends, contradicting herself. Also everyone assumes the QnA as canon... so are we now the fans real characters from SMG4 universe? If we take this, the streamings and the meta jokes as canon the inmersion and logic of the show just breaks... Nothing makes sense... the SMG4 characters literally know they are characters being written by actual people...

Now lets apply realitty people try to put on MxM on Axol x Melony ¿okey?: Melony was a and still is in part a watermelon who started being human 3 years ago, meaning when the ship got canon she was less than 3 years old mentally. And they are a diferent species too, at least MxM now is between 2 humans. AxM is in these terms FAR FAR worse than MxM, but people is fine with it, talking about hipocrisy...
Should we talk about SonicxSwag too? and how the same people does not care? Or BoopkinsxSaiko being a couple for an episode? Really...

MxM would be the most "normal" couple in the entirety of SMG4 if it happened. Applying realitty ofc, giving the other ships the same treatment MxM gets.

If you hate the ship its perfectly valid, you can also state your opinion. But going out of your way being an asshole to call other people out, even calling pedo*** out of ignorance for enjoying this... so sad to see.

This is more to the songwriter: I see what you did there at the beginning. Making the “doo”s at the beginning sound like the starting countdown before a race. Clever touch!

Nonetheless, I’ve always loved this ship since the scene in Meggy’s boot camp, and I love moments like this in the show! Obviously there are flaws in the characters in the show, but I definitely see the passion you guys have to try and resolve these issues, even if so many people give you guys crap for it. I will always respect you guys for the dedication you have for the work you have all done for the show!
