Nikki you were one of the first youtubers I started watching and I recently started watching you again. I love seeing the woman of Christ you’ve become! I’m currently dealing with health issues and I saw your videos on your latest pregnancy and I just felt a closeness to you. I’m not pregnant but was diagnosed with gastroparesis in April this year and I currently can’t eat solid food, only able to intake boost shakes since end of March. But when you talked about the nausea and only being able to take sips of water when you wanted to drink more because you love water was so me! I’m up to drinking 7 cups of water a day and 3 boost shakes a day. I thank the Lord my nausea went away a few months ago but it was very debilitating and I’m so grateful I didn’t throw up because a lot of people with this do but I still became malnourished and underweight. I just got my full on period back yesterday since not having it since March of this year and still pray and believe the Lord will fully heal me in His timing 🙏🏼

Some of them are focused on different careers, some of them are focused on more serious content, some of them are washed up, and some of them quit. I definitely respect a differing of opinions and will stand by that with this, but i am fascinated by your stance on children in media when so much of your messaging and intent is on the empowerment and protection of children. I guess I somewhat agree when we are talking about kids in films and television; rather than remove completely, perhaps we put more safeguards in place and stop protecting predators instead. But kids on social media? As someone who used to share my kids online, now so many years later, I just don’t really see any reason to do so. THAT DOES NOT MEAN I JUDGE PARENTS WHO POST THEIR CHILDREN, but I do believe there really just is no good reason to share children online until they make the choice to do so themselves. Interesting conversation.

Nikki! I am finally catching up. As someone who used to share my kids but stopped I am still conflicted. I hope you know I agree with you that it’s not wrong for you or anyone to share your kids. After glory died, I got such nasty comments about our children that I chose to protect them from that. I do miss sharing our life more though and pray God will guide me on what to do.

If you need a little encouragement, my second pregnancy was my worst. I was sick the entire first and third trimesters, and it ended with a traumatic birth that sent me into emergency surgery. We did choose to have another and I was the least sick with my third. Nausea was there, but I wasn't throwing up a dozen times a day. If life circumstances hadn't changes drastically, we would have had a fourth.
