Ward Davis - Good Ol Boys Like Me

On 4/29/2021, which happened to be Willie Nelsons birthday, Ward Davis performed at the Pig Pen in San Antonio. Charles Wesley Godwin opened the night. There are a few of his songs at the beginning of this playlist. They both KILLED IT!! It was a mask free show. Only about 50 people there, but a great time was had by all. The tickets that night included an all you can eat BBQ buffet. I have to say that it was THE BEST BBQ that I have found, since I have lived in TEXAS!!!

To sing the songs Ward Davis does, and "badmouth" a Waylon song is about as ballsy as it gets. Don Williams is the greatest to ever do it. Great to see real artists recognize
