Since its founding in 1948, Israel has been a fundamental touchstone for American Jews. While that widespread support has eroded over the years as a peace process with Palestinians foundered, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent attempt to deeply undermine the country’s independent judiciary has pushed that relationship to a nadir.

Jodi Rudoren, editor-in-chief of the Forward, will be in conversation with Congressman Brad Schneider, Rabbi Jeremy Kalmanofsky of New York's Ansche Chesed synagogue, Israeli Deputy Consul General Daniel Aschheim, and Eva Borgwardt, political director of IfNotNow.

The constant gaslighting spewed by the rep of the Israeli government only serves to highlight how right in their admonishment of the state of Israel the other speakers are. His claims are baseless and his words are tinged with lies and less that half truths.
