Wow. Back when MTV actually played music videos. If you didn't grow up in the 80s, you just don't know what you missed.

Best time. So grateful to have been a teenager in the 80s.

I was 16 in 83.
What a time to be young and carefree.
Life was better without the cell phone and internet.

Man I miss the 80s so much…such a carefree time. My bones didn’t hurt, youth was on my side and no cell phones! There has to be a DeLorian somewhere that can take us all back 😎.

Never missed the MTV Top 20 video countdown on Friday nights. Didn't need the internet or cell phones. Life was simple and fun.

80's were the greatest time to experience. Summers seemed to last forever, music and movies were amazing.

We literally had to sit and wait for videos and specials or risk missing them. If you were really rich you had a beta max or VCR to record….. What a time to be a kid :)

One of my favorite 1983 songs and videos was "Suddenly Last Summer" by The Motels.

Somebody needs to buy MTV and restore it back to its roots. You can’t tell me there wouldn’t be a HUGE market for this!

‘83… I had graduated, and moved back to Atlanta from Houston. I was an Mtv fanatic. The best new and old music you could see. Wow
