You can use the polygon, just draw a random polygon shape and add manual merge 2 layer to link it and it will work!

you could make it look a LOT nicer with masks and the 3D tools and also a little bit of drop shadow so it is much more immersive

Is this amount of work needed for every single zoom trough effect you want to apply? I see video's where mask effects etc are aplied every 5 seconds, do they really work 3 days in full hours on those?
