Oh my heart. Thanks for that Seth. I know my Dad would certainly be proud of finding humour in heartbreak.
I will now issue a correction on myself: it's not that he didn't have respect for you Seth!!! It's just he always felt he didn't "get" it the way he should (never stopped him from watching your show), and corrections brought it all together for him, and heightened his understanding of the brilliance that is this show, the writers, your delivery etc. icing on the cake if you will.
Thanks again. For being something to look forward to 4 days a week.. but especially for the icing that is Corrections. ❤

I love Corrections! Every episode. There's something about Corrections that feels like secret bonus time with Seth and I'm here for every minute of it.

I watch the monologue because I love Seth and I watch a closer look because I feel like I have to in order to get an inkling of what’s going on in the world, but can’t stomach full, serious doses of news. I watch corrections because I want to. This is the one time a week I get to laugh and not feel burdened. Don’t get me wrong, I laugh at the other segments in the show and I laugh at Colbert and I laugh at the daily show, but satire carries a heavy weight in every punchline these days. Corrections is a genuine relief; please, I beg of you, never stop. The jackal community is my favorite thing to be a part of on the internet. And I know this was too earnest but I’ve been feeling it for a while. ❤

Seth underestimates just how willing Jackals are to spend money just to troll him. We will be punished for it soon no doubt, but for now that padding joke was top tier, A+!

One of my favorite quotes--one that has stuck with me since the moment I read it in Timequake--is by Kurt Vonnegut. It goes "“Many people need desperately to receive this message: ‘I feel and think much as you do, care about many of the things you care about, although most people do not care about them. You are not alone.’”

For me, completely unexpectedly, Corrections has been that message. Even 125. Especially 125, because it's a reminder that sometimes, we all feel like we suck--and that we can all be harsher critics of ourselves than anyone else. But we're good enough.
