At first ZnO nanoparticles are synthesized by sol-gel method. For this purpose, 0.1M zinc acetate is dissolved in 20 ml ethanol and stirred for 30 min; Then triethanolamine (TEA) is added to precursor solution to obtain a homogeneous sol. Also, graphene oxide (GO) is prepared from graphite powder. For this purpose, H2SO4 is added to the mixture of 0.5 g graphite powder and 0.3 g sodium nitrate. Then, 1.5 g KMnO4 is added to the mixture while kept in an ice-bath. graphene oxide is obtaind after filtration, washing and drying .To obtain GOZnO nanocomposite solvothermal method is used. 0.1 gr of GO nanopowder is dispersed in 20 ml ethanol and it is mixed using ultrasonic bath for 1 h at room temperature. Then the obtained ZnO sol is added to GO solution and mixed in ultrasonic bath for 30 min. The final mixture is poured into a 50 ml Teflonlined autoclave and heated to 180 °C for 24 h to obtain GoZnO nanocomposites.
