Former president Donald Trump returned to Pennsylvania on Saturday for another campaign rally, his fourth in the west/central region of the state in the past two months, as he spoke to a crowd of supporters at the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Latrobe.
Trump kicked off his rally with a detailed story about Arnold Palmer, who was born in Latrobe in 1929 and learned to golf from his father, who suffered from polio and was head pro and greenskeeper at the local country club.
A full 12 minutes was spent talking about Palmer during Trump's speech, he even suggested how much more fun the night would be if Palmer, who died in 2016, could join him on stage.
“Arnold Palmer was all man, and I say that in all due respect to women," Trump said. "This is a guy that was all man.”
During his speech, Trump once again outlined his plan for what a second term would look like.
The former president discussed the importance of fixing the nation's economy and inflation, "preventing World War 3 and bringing peace to the Middle East," and reversing the current administration's border policy, calling for mass deportations of illegal immigrants.
Trump was also joined on stage by several special guests, like U.S. Senate candidate Dave McCormick.
He also touted multiple endorsements, including from a group of Pennsylvania steelworkers and even former Pittsburgh Steelers' star players Antonino Brown and Le'Veon Bell.
