Seems like they are tied with a slight edge to the 2060 in 1080p, but 1440p has the 1080 winning by a non insignificant margin.

The GeForce GTX 1080 is possibly the best card they’ve ever made. For me though I’m still torn as I can remember going from a Voodoo 5500 to a GeForce 2 and it was insane. So GeForce 2 or GTX 1080. Tough one.

I have an aorus 1070Ti manually Overclocked so it should be pretty similar to both of these

Looks like the 1080 was always the better card, but the recent drivers are favoring the 2060 these days.
Maybe we need some custom drivers, like they have for the RX500/Vega cards on the other side?

You know, just put a cover on your PC and you will not see a damn difference. If your game lags, repair it like in the old days, by putting some shadows to lower or something similar which you will get used to in a minute.
