U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi directed federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty for Luigi Mangione, the man accused of shooting and killing UnitedHealth Group (UNH.N), opens new tab Chief Executive Brian Thompson in New York last year. Mangione has pleaded not guilty to New York state charges of murder as an act of terrorism and weapons offenses. He could face life in prison without parole if convicted in that case. If Luigi would had comitted the same crime against a homeless man, he probably could have pleded out to a 10 year manslaughter sentence. . . Yet, against a weathly CEO, it is a death sentence. Why is that?

Funny how he's charged with terrorism for ALLEGEDLY killing a man and is facing the death penalty when school shooters don't even get faced with that. America is messed up.

You have criminals in prison who have done much worse
. This guy kills an insurance agent who denied hundreds of people their insurance claims that they paid for resulting in death.. especially the elderly.. and you want to give this guy the death penalty
. Something isn't right here
