Tony. Your Rangers equivalent The Rangers Review are doing a weekly segment around Tactical analysis. I particularly enjoyed yesterday's "The Issue with Rangers Tactics v Celtic". I would greatly welcome a similar/regular segment on the Celtic Way (podcast) providing tactical analysis. I would love to better understand the way in which Rodgers has us set out from week to week. Especially in Europe.

AJ talking about him and his brothers playing kickabout was magic.

Belated mention of Agathe, he played Ronaldinho when he was the best player in the world 4 times and got the best of him.

How many Celtic players in the whole of history have played against a member of the current world 11 as often and been their equivalent?

We've been lucky that since Agathe we've mostly had an unbroken run at RWB, Telfer aside.

Okay, I always appear to be the Devil's Advocate however involuntarily but I think Johnston's time here has been a mixed bag. The lad has energy, speed and undoubtedly skill but some of his judgement in tackling questionable and passing/crossing into the box frequently poor.

The good news is that in recent games he has shown a marked improvement in both these areas especially on Sunday. So is this yet another case of Rodgers improving a player further?

We can already see improvements in Maeda, Kuhn and Bernardo and even an extraordinarily revitalised Kyogo if that were ever needed.

It just has to be down to the Rodgers influence and superb man-management?

Ralston was good for Scotland BUT end of the day he gave away another goal at that level, for me that’s why he can’t play in the Champions league cos mistakes are punished. Let’s pray AJ stays fit ☘️☘️☘️

Kasper Schmeichel is, imho, a great shot-stopper in the mould of Fraser Forster and even better than Joe Hart. His one weakness is that he is loathe to come off his line for crosses just like the other two. That was nearly punished on Sunday early on with that header across at the back post just two high for a couple of Sevcovians to nod home. Kasper looked completely lost then and should have been more pro-active, imv.

But maybe we can't have everything! 😁

I like Joe but without a doubt Kasper is a better keeper.

Hold on ahaggerty you’re making out we’re being picky and over critical when it comes to Ralston, I’d love him to kick on but he gave away a goal with a clumsy challenge on a guy going nowhere. If he does that in a crucial game later in the season I’ll come back and see how understanding you are.
