Gotta love how the title conveniently left out the word "democratic" before president. The last [democratic] president...".

"Pro-Israel" in this context means pro-Netanyahu, and the other awful hard-liners.

Israelis, however, are not a monolith. Not all of them support Netanyahu, who is objectively horrible.

Wild how much can be said by friedman that would be considered anti-Semitic from anyone else.

define 'pro-israel'. pro-something never means that you always agree everything they do.

Israel would be much better off if it swtiched backers. Either to Russia or China. Hopefully Israel will drop the US and work with these other 2 nations.

I don't understand the apartheid point here or comparison? apartheid was a system never done before where each race was given an opportunity to govern themselves as they wish in order to keep peace and order. Special papers/permits/ identification needed to be in a certain place (no different to any other country now). Land was not taken except maybe for a few small cases. There wasn't a nation of native people throughout South Africa when the white man arrived, except for a few areas... The largest one was the Zulu, who were not native but slaughter their was into South Africa.

Israel can crush its enemies! Let's hope they are never pushed to that point - with or without the U.S. There is no hate like the Arabs have for the Jews!

On that day, God made a covenant with Abram, saying: "To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt as far as the great river the Euphrates. The land of the Kenites, Kenizites, Kadmonites; the Chitties, Perizites, Refaim; the Emorites, Canaanites, Gigashites and Yevusites." - Genesis 15:18-21
( In the above context), Greater Israel would comprise, roughly, all of modern-day Israel (including the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Golan Heights), Jordan, and Lebanon, much of Syria, Iraq, and Kuwait, and parts of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey.
So when Christians state, If the lands of Israel are divided, God will come against those who destroy the Covenant he gave to Abraham....if Christians truly understood, they would know that Israel has been on the receiving end of bad deals by political players for centuries. Israel has been divided as a nation from the day it was reestablished in 1948. Only a tiny contested piece of land was given back to them from the massive amount they actually owned.
This prophecy was been unfolding for centuries but it is culminating to its final end with the current events we have been witnessing concerning Palestine and the so called two state solution.
What can go wrong?

Jesus love you, he died on the cross for you, accept him as your lord and savior he can change everything. For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life" (Jn 3:16"

But you must repent too. From that time Jesus went about preaching and saying, Let your hearts be turned from sin, for the kingdom of heaven is near. (Matthew 4:17).
