Or say you had a break to "discover yourself" to know what you really want. And you went backpacking in a far land. They love that shizzle. I think is super dumb but sometimes they even question if you know who you are if you didnt backpack. Its the same thing if you didn't have a international study, intenrship or work... as if I gain so much more knowledge from being abroad (no you dont)...

Unless your career Gap was because you had kids then you're told you probably shouldn't have mentioned that and there's no way to explain to 10 years that you were home raising your kids without bringing up the fact that you have kids no matter how many skills you acquired by setting appointments raising rearing and feeding said children
