This was my favorite mission intro of the whole series. The piano intro with the ships coming down into frame really set the tone. A master class in editing and execution. Great dialog too.

I just like the small details like the Pelican that got shot down you can see the flaps shaking as if the pilot is just cranking hard on the controls trying to keep it stable even as the engines fail and he crashes, the nose pointing up is a clear sign he is trying to pull up too.

This is my favorite scene of all games I’ve played man. I remember seeing this when I was younger and I was just fascinated. I get chills every time I see this now and man was this a good mission.
