My husband died two years ago after 47 years of marriage and it makes me remember the wonderful times we had together.

Johann Christian Pachelbel. 1653 to 1706. Had 8 children. Married twice. 2 of his sons were also composers. A daughter was a artist, a painter. A son was an instrument maker, strings. His grave is rather common and almost unfindable.of course, it's very old. There is a very small museum in Nuremburg, Germany of him.

This was my Darling Wife's favorite song... She first heard me play it on a KORG C-5000 Digital Piano. I had a really bad day at work and she was asleep when I arrived home. I turned the volume down to nearly silent and closed my eyes and began playing and the stress of the day melted away into the music. After nearly an hour I finally took a deep breath and turned from the keyboard to see her lying facing the foot of the bed, wrapped in a sheet, head on her hands and smiling. We made love until the sun came up and fell asleep in each other's arms... My Beautiful Renee is gone now, singing with God's angels, but this music always take me back to gazing into each other's eyes, saying volumes without words. I Love You Baby and I miss You beyond the capability of words...

My mom would play this song every night for me and my brothers when we were all toddlers and it just remind me of how loving and beautiful my Mom is. I want this song to be played the day I get married and the day I die. It’s almost a sacred song

Played this with headphones on my stomach for both of my pregnancies. Relaxed my babies, once they were born, helped them sleep and still does to this day.

This is the one piece of music that reminds me of the worst days of homelessness, the struggles to find a better life, and the joy I've had in the years removed from that; all in a single moment.

It is a reflection that helps keep my feet on the ground, for that I am thankful.

I am partially deaf due to military service. I don't ever remember hearing Canon in D major until about 15 years ago when we attended a wedding of one of my wife's co-workers. I was so amazed at how beautiful it was during the wedding march. I didn't know what the name of the music was but my wife's supervisor told me and I've never forgotten. It is probably the most beautiful music ever composed and played. I frequently play it on YouTube and have a CD but really enjoy the extended versions like this one. The slides are beautiful and in my 10 years overseas in SE Asia, the middle East, Europe and the UK never saw anything to match these slides.

When I found out I had cancer, I played this recording over & over. It helped me calm down & think of my next step. A friend at work thought to record it for me as he liked it & he didn’t know of my cancer journey. Now I hope to pass it along to my sister who has just started her cancer journey.

I walked down the aisle at my wedding to this. Just hearing this music brings back so many happy memories of the day.. seeing my to be husbands face light up (at the time), saying our vows, being with family. I would do it all again with my husband.

This is what I listen to most of the day and always at night. I am in a rehab/nursing home due to having a pacemaker put in and falling at home. My gait has become unsteady and I need some physical therapy to help with that issue. At night I play this night...7 hours, to help me sleep during this difficult period. I am not use to all the sounds going on outside of my door. I am a nurse and understand what and why things are done. It's hard "being on the other side of the bed". I've always been the one doing the taking care of....it hard for me to allow someone to assist me now... All I can say is ...thank you...this song gets me through it time I am here. Again thank you.
