5 reasons why you’re not gaining muscle
1. You have fuckarounditis. You’re spending too much time looking for what’s optimal and not enough time putting in the work. Stop overcomplicating it and stop following swipe workouts. Get on a program and stick to it.
2. You’re ego-only lifting. Training is not about moving a weight from point A to point B. Instead of trying to impress people in the gym or on social media with numbers , drop the load and focus on mastering your form and technique FIRST.
3. You’re not tracking your progress. If you’re lifting the same weight for the same reps with the same form as 2 years ago, You’re not improving. Start tracking your workouts with a notebook, an app or your phone and make sure you’re improving over time.
4. You’re neglecting recovery. You can train as hard and as often as you want but you’re wasting your efforts if you’re not recovering between sessions. This includes managing nutrition, sleep, and stress.
5. You’re too impatient Gaining muscle is a slow process. Stop trying to look like a Greek God after 6 months of training. If you want to grow and get stronger you have to put in the time, hard work, and be patient.
