Halo: Desolation - Mega Construx/Bloks Stopmotion

After leaving a research operation stationed on a remote planet, plentiful in Forerunner treasures. The Covenant ORS heavy cruiser: ‘The Judicator’ returns 3 weeks later, only to discover the research base seemingly abandoned. A special operations squad is sent down the planet’s surface to investigate the silence.

It's been a year since I released desolation... I can't thank you all enough for your overwhelming support 💜 I hope you're all doing well too.

I haven't quit animating I just got lazy and took a bit too long off (again), but I am working on something now. It's not the great schism animation, though I will make that eventually. It's just a little project I'm making to slip back into the habit of animating frequently. I don't imagine it'll be much longer than 5 minutes, as it's something I want to release before Halo Infinite comes out.

It’s been a while since I saw an animation of that quality, the dialogues were incredibly well done, the music is really well mixed the sfx as well, the camera work was so good and the animation was more than on point! I really liked the story as well, that was fresh! Can’t wait for more (but I understand that I’ll have to)

This is easily my favourite stop motion to date! You clearly put SO much effort into this. The voice acting is on point, each figure has so much character and smooth little movements, the proto-gravemind is genuinely creepy. There's so many shots where ALL the characters are moving at once which makes it feel so much more real. Even little things like the infected form's head tentacles moving. Wow! The set design was great. Amazing dude, well done! 2 years well worth it haha!

Damn, this stop motion never gets old. Great work. I also think that the atmosphere felt like Halo CE (my fav halo game) with the muddy ground texture like the mission 343 guilty spark along with a halo 2 style story. I also liked that there was no intense plot twist. It was simple, a team finding flood and they have to get out of here. It leaves us a lot of thought about what happened exactly.


Also as a covenant preferred person, it brings me a lot happiness as covenant main stopmotions are very rare nowadays.

That was awesome! Loved every second of it. Glad to see a covenant themed animation for once; you don’t see those often enough. The flood were animated brilliantly. Really liked how whenever they were killed with an energy sword, they popped into many pieces. All in all, fantastic work. This was definitely worth the wait.

I love everything about this! The dialouge was amazing along with the people who voiced in it! The sets and the colour correction was well done! Overall a really strong story and animation the action sequences were amazing! Great work :)

This is a Masterpiece, The way they work together and fought off the Flood was Awesome, and not gonna lie here, that scene with the proto Grave mind consuming the grunt gave me chills, and I loved it.

Just...wow. honestly, this is beautiful. It gives me such original halo 1 vibes. It is clean and the movent and lightning is perfect. The story and atmosphere are awesome. The voice acting and audio is phenomenal. It's been a while since I've watch a entire long stop motion without skipping once. Last one was probably the planet quarti series from Badlaxe Animations

I honestly can't give this enough praise! The animation was so smooth and crystal clear. The proto-gravemind was really creepy and the gore of the flood was really neat to see! The voice acting was great too, particularly person who voiced the ship master did an excellent job!
Sorry if I have asked this question before, but how did you get the flood tentacle arms move and bend
