Facing My BIGGEST Fears | SCORPIONS, SPIDERS, PLANES + More | Doctor Mike

I've said it before and I'll say it again. You need to face your fears and step out of your comfort zone to succeed and be happy + healthy. So this week I jumped into a cockpit of a plane, played with scorpions, and looked super silly on the golf course.

I hope you guys can tell I'm super nervous throughout this video because I am truly afraid of all of these tasks. I also have to give a huge thank you to the folks at Kissimmee Florida for organizing all of these amazing activities for me and letting me conquer my fears all in one weekend!!! My boy, Koda, who was my best snake, helped so many people overcome their fear of snakes. He truly was the best boy and was just so curious and friendly. I was so happy to see how comfortable you were starting to get with that Burmese.

4:20 I've heard this advice related to social anxiety too. That people are afraid of a negative experience or leaving a negative impression, but mostly that's just in your head and a way to start to deal with that is something simple like asking a stranger for directions or trying to attend a group related to something that interests you like a hiking group, softball, kitting, book club, etc.

Very inspiring 💕 sometimes I try getting out of my comfort zones but sometimes I tend to stay in them but it’s nice seeing you go out of your comfort zone and doing new things or things you wouldn’t usually do it makes me or even any person happy because it’s letting people know it’s okay to try
