Das Lila Lied- Queue Queer

I performed this number for Cipherpunk's 1920's themed drag show on 3/13.

"Das Lila Lied" is a German caberet song written by Mischa Spoliansky during the cultural revolution of the Wiemar Republic. By performing it in drag, I add another cultural layer, as drag as a form of entertainment became semi-mainstream in this era. The song itself is the first "gay anthem", but I see it as a gay liberation song.
