You can fill out a 1099-C just make sure you have a 56 form over your Social Security making you the fiduciary that's all that needs to be in place to do a 1099 C, it makes me so upset that people don't want to tell you how to do it but just tell you to stop doing it place a form 56 and be the fiduciary over your straw man which is your Social Security all caps person
