Namaskaram mami 🙏 I am residing in USA. Today was my first Janmashtami celebration in USA. I saw this video in the morning and decided to prepare both Vella seedai and uppu seedai confidently..it came out really well and this is my first time I prepared both seedai's all alone 👍thank you so much mami ❤️for the pakkuvam 😀👍and as per your instruction I started from pillayar 🙏once again thank you so much mami 😀😀

Thank you much aunty, after marriage i have been trying uppu seedai every year now for 10 years. Got vella seedai but uppu seedai burst every time. Followed ur recipe exactly and got perfect this time, no bursting. Thanks for passing on these tips to younger generations like us. God bless you

Cumin seeds or ellu can be used. Excellent mami...Thanks for including y uppu seedai vedikum... People must use only powdered salt. If rock salt is used seedai will burst

One tip I read somewhere that helped me very much is to poke a very tiny hole in uppu seedai to avoid oil blast/ spill. light a oru kuthu kuthittu ennai la pottaa vedikave vedikaadhu

Mam made both Vella and Uppuluri cheedai following your step by step instruction. Came out superb.
I am 60+ . Past two years we did not celebrate Krisna Jayanthi as we were travelling. I was quite apprehensive making at home. Thank you it came out really superb. I made appam too as per your receipe. Was really good. Thank you.
In fact I should have told guru vandhana on gurupoornima day. Belated vandanas.

Mami if u add coconut to Vella sedai and uppu sadai after 3 days it won't get spoilt?
Generally they add kopparai instead of coconut.which is d best kopparai or coconut
